Jason had [has? he's still on it..] a 4 day weekend this weekend and spent the first two days working on our house! He painted a few more doors and installed under-cabinet lighting in the kitchen. SO COOL. We don't have a window in our kitchen so this is really cool. We're getting really close to being ready for our engagement/housewarming party. As of now the major things we need to do are to repair the drywall in the laundry room, finish painting the laundry room, finish 2.5 more doors, and paint the bathroom. We got our first housewarming present today, how exciting! My Aunt Cathy & Coop gave us some pampered chef stuff, sweet!
We were given a small cutting board which is SO awesome. We have a gigantic bamboo cutting board which is great for things like making salsa, pretty awful when we just need one tomato. # pairing knives & the greatest thing ever. A steamer for the microwave! It's so super fast and easy!!
Today Jason rented a uhaul and finally brought over the last of his stuff, including his gigantic tool box!

Jason is getting close to being able to bottle his homebrew so he's been soaking his bottles in the guest tub so that they will peel off easier! He also did a test on the alcohol content thus far and it's looking to be about 4%.
Today my mom and Aunt brought me to a new [to me] restaurant for a late 22 celebration. If you haven't been yet, check out Pita Jungle. REALLY good food. It's really different stuff, pretty healthy and some veggie stuff too. GO NOW! You'll be happy you did. I can't wait to bring Jason!
We had a $10 rewards check from Best Buy from when we purchased our bedroom tv and wanted to buy "I Love You Man' but they were ALL out of the non-blue-ray ones. But as fate would have it, while we were waiting in the aisle for the guy to check their system, we found Jim Gaffagan's new comedy DVD. AWESOME. $5 after the coupon!
