We checked out for the holidays - I forgot to say that...maybe because I didn't know!
Despite not being able to enjoy the consumer side of the holidays, Jason and I really enjoyed the holidays this year. It was SO nice to have our families in the same spot. Now we just need to convince Michelle and Aki to move out to AZ!
My parents hosted Christmas for everyone, and we all had such a blast! Next year will be even better - Christmas Eve is a Saturday, no work! This year we had a big dinner with everyone and then did a gift exchange game.

Christmas morning we slept in (except me who got to sleep with guard dog Monsoon who barked and growled ate every strange noise at "grandma's" house! boo!). Opened presents, cooked up a huge brunch and then we went home and took GIANT naps!
A big thank you to everyone for all of our presents - we loved everything!
