The only thing that has us griping is NORM. NORM YOU ARE CRAPPY. That felt good. So he didn't come monday, and by thursday we hadn't heard one word from him regarding why he didn't come or when he would come. So, Jason called him:
Jason asked him how much he would charge for the light he fixed in the kitchen and couldn't get an answer out of Norm for the life of him. This resulted in Jason telling Norm well we're ready to pay you and get the rest of our money back
To this Norm says, "but I haven't finished everything I'm supposed to do".
OH REALLY?!? YOU MEAN YOU HAVEN'T?! ugh.
Jason: "yeah but you aren't really doing it"
Norm "Oh, are you saying you don't like my service?"
Jason: "what service? you haven't done anything in weeks. We're actually just done with you and want our money"
Norm: "Well I can't just give you that much money at once"
Jason: "Yeah you can, that's my money."
Norm:"Well I have to pay taxes on it. If you'd just let me paint the house..."
Jason: "We don't want you to do anything else"
So I don't know how that part ended but then Jason emailed Lorrie AND left her a voicemail explaining his extreme dissatisfaction with Norm for sucking, and her for recommending such a sucker.
Lorrie calls Norm and then returns Jason's call and we learn Norm's truck broke down on Monday and thats why he didn't show up. [was his phone broken as well?]
Lorrie: confirms that yes, he has to pay taxes on the money
Jason: tells her he doesn't care, he just wants to get on with his life and get his money back.
Lorrie: [to my extreme amazement] why don't you just let him paint the house?
Are you kidding? He'd probably paint half of it and then disappear for a few weeks.
Jason: lets her know he's pissed, he just wants his money and that this looks bad on her for making such a horrible recommendation.
She calls Norm, probably handed him his behind and then Norm calls us. He apologizes, says he'll come saturday and fix the ceiling in the bathroom and that the window is late arriving from the company but he'll fix that as soon as it is in.
Summary of this really complicated post: We'll see if he comes tomorrow. Otherwise..lawyer? [annoyed face]
