Jeri and Kason: Flagstaff, AZ

So early last week we started planning a turn around trip to Flagstaff to beat the heat and celebrate my 23rd bday. We had planned to do the skyride at Snowbowl but it was closed, probably due to all the tstorm weather they have been getting. Suprisingly, it was perfect while we were there!

We left really early - about 7:30, stopped for breakfast and hit the road! We took a different way to Flagstaff this time. We took the 87 instead of the I17 - LOVED IT. It's about the same time but it was way more scenic!

On our way out of the desert, we drove through a cloud! Awesome!

We had a picnic lunch while checking out the view at Snowbowl. Best View EVER!Then we decided to hike down! My handsome hiker :)Who wears 2 shades of gray at the same time? Pshh...This is proof that 1970's mushroom graphics are accurate! Cute!Is this not to die for?

After hiking, we checked into our hotel and got ready for dinner. We went to the Beaver Street Brewery in town and it was good! Their berry brew was so tasty! We went back to the hotel and hung out outside, in the awesome awesome 60 degree weather! Have I ever mentioned how much I hate summer?! Good for nothing!

The next morning we were lazy - thanks to no puppy waking us up! Checked out, drove around and had a yummy breakfast at Brandy's (Was on diners, drive in and dives) and then began the longggg drive home! It was like a movie setting!
