This month we set a goal for ourselves, to set a date and a budget so we can actually start planning. I googled world's longest engagement and Jason and I can't even begin to contend with it, 67 years! Yikes! Well, we hit our goals for this month!
We were deciding between Fall 2011 or Spring 2012, those seasons have the nicest weather out here and that would give all long-distance family enough time to make arrangements. We chose to do Spring 2012 but spring is so beautiful out here, it's our favorite time of year, and it will give us longer to plan our perfect day! So then we were trying to decide between February, March or April. We're hoping for an outdoor wedding so February evenings are a little too chilly, March is SUPER rainy for Arizona so we've decided on April!
Our wedding date (pending we find a great location with the open date) will be Friday, April 20th, 2012!!
We are SOOO excited to finally have a date!!
