Day 9, 8, 7

Day 9:
Our showerhead came!! It's not 100% what we wanted (it isn't completely brushed nickel, just in some spots) but it'll work for now and when we upgrade we can move the semi-sweet showerhead into the guest bathroom! We also started looking for a bedroom at best buy but got nervous and decided we'd try again the next day, haha.

Day 8:
We bought our bedroom tv!! It's 32inch samsung! I love it! I also learned that until further notice, my department is switching back to 10 hours of overtime instead of 8. Here's hoping we don't go back to 13 hours of overtime like we were at for a couple weeks. I guess it's a good thing, we need extra money right now! Lorrie also called Jason and said the appraiser had been to the house on Friday and everything looks good for the 20th, so we'll see. We can't wait to see the big hole on the house outside all patched up!!

Day 7:
I got 8 of my overtime hours out of the way on Saturday (yuck) so that if we do close on Friday, I'll have my afternoons this week to help get stuff ready. We had been to home depot last weekend picking out the fridge we wanted and the washer/dryer we wanted but we got some good advice. Jason's aunt works at home depot in the kitchen area and let us know that if we waited a couple days their new sale would start and we would get 10% off all appliances, not just the current maytags. She also emailed us friday and said she had a coupon for us that would let us not have any payments/interest for a whole year, instead of the usual 6 months, awesome! So we went on Saturday and spent a lot of money! ha. We were going to get this one fridge for $1799, but it didn't have a water and ice dispenser so she asked if we were SURE we were okay with that, so we decided to look around some more and make sure. Well! There was the upgraded model of the same fridge, with the dispener, LED lights, yada yada. Since it was the last one and the floor model it was orignally $2500 but was on sale for $1997. We ended up getting 10% off for the sale, and she got them to take another 10% off since it had a small dent that we'll probably never see again since its in a wierd spot at the bottom. DEAL! It ended up being cheaper than the other one! We do practically owe home depot our first born tho, good thing we have a year to pay this stuff off. Jason cleaned our room up while I was at work and found his $100 best buy gift card from his dad so after home depot, we bought a vaccuum at Best buy. It was cool because the bissell pet hair one we got sponsors petfinder.com!
