Be our guest!

February is off to a very good start, thanks to all of that resting we did in January! We're getting some stuff on our year's to-do list done and it feels great! We are starting somewhat of a diet this week.. less snacking after work, more veggies in our meals, for me -- fruit for breakfast instead of whatever leftover's are semi-portable, starting to take a few vitamins again, the gym!

This weeked was super nice outside so we took advantage of (finally) visiting the outdoor mall near us and walking around before sharing a lunch at Gordon Biersch. We also played frisbee with the dog for a half hour Saturday morning and for the life of us, can't get her to jump up and catch it.. any tips?

I forgot to mention, a few weeks ago, that Jason's THIRD brew is complete! AND Delicious! We did a taste test on Pat's birthday wth an unmarked cup of each Jason's and the Official brew. We were trying to guess which one was the original Black Butte from memory of previous tastes.. Pat and I both guessed Jason's! So that means his beer is awesome! He's already scheming which kind he should make next.

Another of our goals this year is to finish our guest room. Today, we cleared out all of the holiday junk that has been in there in since October and brought in the mattress my brother didn't need anymore. It is now, technically, suitable for guests.. any takers? anyone? Yeah, I think it still needs some work...

Jason was reunited with his old comforter the last time we were at Irene's...oh geez. Also, if you'll notice, it is BYOP-bring your own pillow- at this point in time.

We went to the specialty grocery store out here, Trader Joe's, the other day and when we brought our groceries home I realized just how much cheese is in our fridge..

Monsoon spent all day outside Friday with Jason while they (he) got rid of all the tumble and other weeds in the backyard. She was super tired that afternoon!
The big baby in all her glory..

Do you see anything wrong with this picture? Margarita is willingly in Monsoon's cage.
