Monsoon is now officially half a year old! She weighs in at 39lbs. A month ago at her appointment, the vet guessed she may get to 50 lbs, so she may be close to getting done, who knows. She still loves all things water and the only thing she doesn't seem to appreciate is heights. Whenever she's in Jason's truck she wants to dive-bomb out of it as soon as the door opens, but in my car she is just fine. Wierdo. This weekend we are taking her hiking for the first time!
Jason has worked 10 days in a row now, and tomorrow will be his 11th. Then, he finally gets 4 days off. Oh, Walgreens.
We've started researching wedding venues online, trying to get a list together so that we can attend their open houses. We may have to push the wedding back until 2011 because we made an executive decision the other night. We both have equal amounts of debt on our credit cards and feel consumed by the payments, so we are going to take 6 months, and focus on living as frugally as possible and see what we can do to the numbers. If it looks good at that point, we'll be shooting for a spring wedding in 2011 and if it still looks shaky, fall 2011. Not really good news or bad news, but we decided together that we don't want to spend the first year of our marriage battling financial woes. For out of towners, no worries, we will give you plenty of advance to make travel arrangements!
