-- I had my last doctor's appointment and everything is fine! That's great news!
-- We got the house in Power Ranch for $160,000 with 6% for closing costs and repairs. It is 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 car garage, living room, kitchen, formal dining and sitting (aka the PUB room! heck yes), a pretty big backyard, and a little over 2000 sq ft! We had our inspection on Tuesday and I guess it went pretty well. I see the huge list of things that need fixing and wonder how we're ever going to do it, but Jason and my parents say the things on the list are pretty normal except for the hole in the side of the house (which was caused by the last owners getting rid of bee activity, NOT water damage! yay!). We meet in the next couple days to figure out which things we want to fix right away, since our real estate agent is having everything estimated right now.
--We bought our bed! $1500 later we got a steal of a deal! The bed was originally twice that but we lucked out :D!
-- We bought our kitchen table! No chairs yet (haha) but we loved the table and it was half off so we were thrilled. Side note... it is really dangerous for us to go into Cost Plus World Market, we're such addicts.
Lately, we've been investigating appliances since we need almost all of the major ones (minus the microwave and dishwasher) so those will be the next big items for the house! We also starting working out a little and I quit drinking diet coke! hooray!
Well, we are off to do some grocery shopping and watch The Office..
