We chose to ring in the new year with a date night at home! Since J's work schedule has been nonstop, the only days he had off were spent celebrating holidays with family - date night was way overdue!
We picked up firewood & steak (the essentials) and cooked dinner together - yum! Steak & asparagus on the grill.
Made some kinderpunsch to ring in the new year
Set up our bonfire and made marshmellows together
Listened to our war-zone of a neighborhood thanks to the newly legalized fireworks in our town. Monsoon was ready for intruders.
What a nice night!
