That being said, we had a good weekend. These last few weekends we just haven't cared to do anything exciting, as December was crazy busy and the relaxation has been much needed. We did end up going to Home Depot and put together the gift cards we had each recieved and bought a new showerhead and an attachment for the dog. This is really, really exciting even though a year ago, we would have laughed if we knew it would be exciting to us. We have two working showers now! One step closer to being able to have houseguests! The attachment for the dog means that we won't have to keep filling up cups when we give her baths. Woooo.
Saturday night we headed to my parents for Pat's birthday (on Tuesday) and hung out. Monsoon did AWESOME! No barking out of fear at all and she even ended up giving everyone kisses. Yes! Victory! Earlier that day I perfect the art of pot roast and we cleaned up our office, which is almost useable now!
This week we're hoping to start our campaign against fat, aka workouts. We'll see, last week I made about every excuse possible not to go to the gym (including "But I can't find my headphones"). LAME. We're hoping to be back to our pre-house-stress weight before we go to Chicago in April.
